Galaxy S24 gets February 2024 update with display, camera fixes
After being announced earlier this month, Samsung has officially started rolling out the first update for the Galaxy S24 series which is set to bring a display improvement and some supposed camera fixes.
Samsung’s announcement for this first big Galaxy S24 update revealed the addition of a new “Vividness” slider for the display, allowing users to gain control over how vibrant the display is. That was launched largely as a response to complaints that the Galaxy S24 tweaks display colors to be more accurate and less oversaturated.

Retired U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor, who forged a path for women in the law, championed ideological compromise and educated generations of Americans about the rights and duties of citizenship, has died.
The court announced her death in a statement Friday morning, citing "complications related to advanced dementia, probably Alzheimer's, and a respiratory illness." She was 93.

Tragic Car Accident in Madison County, Virginia: Multiple Fatalities Reported
A car accident happened in Madison County, Virginia. The crash involved one vehicle and sadly, multiple people died.
On Friday, August 18, the accident occurred near Locust Dale Road (Route 614). At 6:00 p.m., a 2016 GMC Yukon was driving south on North James Madison Highway (Route 15). The car went off the road and hit a tree.
The driver of the GMC, Norman V. Hoover, who was 74 years old and from Bullock, North Carolina, died at the crash site because of his injuries.
