A “pretty unusual” stretch of three straight La Nina seasons could mean that drought may not let up in Maui County and Hawaii island, even with above-average rainfall predicted for the upcoming wet season, a hydrologist said. “We’re going into potentially our third year in a row of La Nina conditions in the wet season,” said Kevin Kodama, senior service hydrologist with the National Weather Service in Honolulu.

HBO announced Thursday that Glenn Howerton (A.P. Bio, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia), Sam Richardson (Veep), and Constance Wu (Fresh Off the Boat) had joined the cast to voice Fred, Shaggy, and Daphne respectively. WASHINGTON — Millennium Space Systems of El Segundo, California, said Oct. 16 it has signed a contract with Space Systems Loral (SSL) to supply reaction wheel assemblies for an undisclosed commercial satellite constellation.
The press release said Millennium’s RWA1000 reaction wheel product is used to precisely point imaging satellites, which suggests the end customer is startup Skybox Imaging of Mountain View, California. Early this year Skybox, which is being purchased by technology giant Google, ordered 13 120-kilogram imaging satellites from Palo Alto, California-based SSL, a wholly owned subsidiary of Canada’s MDA Corp.
